Bellarmine Sending Two Teams to Super-Regionals!

What a weekend for Bellarmine Mock Trial! The stakes were high this weekend, with eight spots to the Opening Round Championship tournament in Memphis on the line.

When the dust settled, much of the hardware remained right here in Louisville. Team 852 finished the tournament with a record of 8 wins and 0 losses, the best record of any team in the tournament. Team captain Staci Windsor was the top-ranked attorney in the entire competition, while Danielle Reesor was also recognized as a top-10 attorney. Junior Samantha Gusentine was named one of the top-10 witnesses in the competition. With that strong performance, team 852 will be mocking in Memphis.

Team 853 finished the tournament at 6 wins and 2 losses, which was good enough to earn the program a second bid to Memphis. Thomas Pedron, Connie Kremer and Torrence Williams were named top-10 attorneys, meaning that 5 of the 10 attorney awards went to Bellarmine.

The Memphis Opening Round Championship is on March 27-29, and the teams will spend the next month preparing.
