Bellarmine Hosts High School TournamentOn Saturday, January 19, Bellarmine is hosting the First Annual Derby City Invitational High School Mock Trial Tournament. Teams in attendance include Fort Thomas Highlands, Louisville DuPont Manual, Berea Independent and Richmond Model Laboratory, and there are still openings for additional schools to sign up. The tournament schedule is as follows: Saturday, January 19: 9:00 a.m. Opening Meeting in the Brown Activities Center classroom 203 (Connected to Frazier Hall and the Koster Commons on the Norris Place side of the campus) 9:30 a.m. Round One (Pasteur Hall and Brown Activities Center) 1:00 p.m. Round Two (Pasteur Hall and Brown Activities Center) In between the rounds, a pizza lunch will be provided in the cafe in Horrigan Hall. Each round will have at least three judges, all of whom are members of Bellarmine's nationally-ranked mock trial program. They will be completing ballots and providing feedback to the participants to help them prepare for their upcoming high school competitions. If you have any questions, please email Matt Rich |
