Bellarmine Mock Trial Assists With Louisville Bar Association Summer Law ProgramBellarmine Mock Trial members and coaches assisted with a week-long summer law program for high school students held on the campus of Bellarmine University and the University of Louisville from June 11 to June 16. The aim of the program is to teach students about trial advocacy and courtroom procedure. At the end of the week, the students put on a mock trial at the University of Louisville's Brandeis School of Law. Bellarmine Mock Trial members assisting with the program included John James, Danielle Reesor, Mark Witten, and Amy Foster. Coaches Jim Wagoner, Ruth Wagoner, Matt Rich and Jason Butler also assisted by preparing materials, lecturing on trial practice, and coordinating the event. Alumnus Chris Schaefer, currently a summer associate at Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, also volunteered his services.
