2006 National Championship Tournament

A hard-luck team from Bellarmine saw its championship hopes dashed in the first round, when it won one of the two judges' ballots against Princeton University by 40 points, only to lose the other by 1 point.

The team battled back from this setback in the second round, before falling to the University of Chicago and NYU.  This tournament marks the final competition for senior Chris Schaefer, who demonstrated excellence as an attorney in his four years with the program.
