"From the late night practices with coaches to the interaction between an attorney and her witness on the stand to the reaction of the judge, mock trial taught me more about the "human element" of life than any other program in which I was engaged in college. Mock trial instills in its participants the traits to which we all aspire - character, honesty, and integrity. Students engaged in it grow more articulate, develop critical thinking skills, and become agile leaders. These attributes are assets in day-to-day interactions in both professional and personal settings. I am proud to have worked with Ruth and Jim Wagoner and to remain a part of the Bellarmine Mock Trial family."
