"Students considering the mock trial team should know that it’s not just an organization for people who want to become attorneys or work in the legal field. I joined the team without any of those intentions and gained just as much as my teammates who went on to law school. My experiences on the mock trial team honed my abilities in public-speaking, analytical thinking - even organization. It is well-known that mock trial consumes most, if not all, of a student’s free time. In return for their free-time, students are rewarded with priceless experiences and friendships. "
