"My only regret with mock trial is that I didn’t join the team as a freshman. In college, it made me a much better public speaker and critical thinker, and those are skills I’ve used every day since. That doesn’t even take into consideration the many lifelong friends I made (the best man in my wedding, for example) or the various ways in which those folks continue to enrich my life. I look back on my years on the Bellarmine Mock Trial team as some of the best in my life, and I’m proud to have been associated with the program and to maintain that association as an alumnus. Coaching mock trial at Bellarmine has been an amazing experience. The students are as gifted as any in the country, and their enthusiasm has definitely re-energized me and reminded me why I got involved with mock trial in the first place."
