"I was pretty sure I wanted nothing to do with mock trial from the moment I heard about it. I had to deal with Matt talking incessantly about it at work, at home, in the car, everywhere. I traveled one time with the team in the fall semester, intending only to be the timekeeper, and from the first minute I was hooked. I joined the team the next weekend, I was an attorney by the second tournament, and I was competing in the National Championship tournament with Ryane and Matt and William in my fifth time out. In that short process, I learned an amazing amount about trial practice -- and I've put what I learned to use many times in my legal practice thus far. I am grateful for my experience with the team, and I will always have fond memories of my time as a Bellarmine mock trialer."
