"Being a Mock Trial witness was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my undergraduate years. Figuring out just how far I could go before I crossed the line, and then playing the witness to the hilt made each round exciting. Sometimes I went over, but I always enjoyed the exercise. I enjoyed it so much that I came back to coach after graduation. As assistant coach of the 1998 runner-up and 1999 National Championship teams, I really got to engage the students in a way I hadn't as a participant. We had a great time, and I will always look back on those years very fondly."
